TonfaOriginally derived from Okinawan millstone handles, the Tonfa have evolved into formidable weapons renowned for their speed and versatility.

Why get a Tonfa? Tonfa are used in pairs to teach coordination for hand to hand fighting, build up speed, reflexes and confidence, and to get conditioned for the impact of other weapons. They are also used for defense against a wide variety of weapons from swords to Bo staffs

What length Tonfa do I need?

The Tonfa's length is important to the safety of both you and your sparring partner. As a general rule it should not extend more than one inch past your elbow when gripped. A good way to measure is to measure from the tip of the extended index finger to the end of the bent elbow. Then subtract 1/2 inch. This is the perfect Tonfa length!
